USA Today has gained an exclusive look at COD7 Black Ops. Apparently just like Treyarch's previous game, World at War, Black Ops will launch on the Nintendo Wii, as well as on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Those who liked Modern Warfare 2's Special Ops will also enjoy the game: Beyond the single-player story, the game will have a cooperative mode for two to four players and an online multiplayer mode. As for the story, players will see it story unfold from the point of view of at least two main characters in multiple covert international conflicts. The singleplayer campaign has a similar mission from Call of Duty 4, but instead of the AC-130 Gunship, you will be inside an SR-71 Blackbird. You won't be piloting the plane directly, as you will have to guide four soldiers past a convoy of Russians in the Ural Mountains. The mission continues later on with you playing one of the soldiers with an interesting weapon. One by one, players will pick off unsuspecting foes with a scoped crossbow. Similar to previous Call of Duty titles, players will click to hold their breath and fire away. This is when we check out one of the franchise's new features: alternate ammo that can be changed on the fly. The lead character can switch from a standard arrow tip on his crossbow to an explosive tip. Russian Base Assaulted The game will also feature customizable weapons like in Modern Warfare 2, for example the AUG assault rifle can be housed with multiple attachments to overcome different scenarios.
